        • Help! I need to find a hotel room!
Area hotels start to book up approximately a year in advance. At this late date, there isn’t much available. Some hotels have waiting lists. We recommend that you visit for a listing of accommodations in the area. You may also want the Parent and Family Programs Office Facebook page.  Sometimes people who have booked hotels but have decided not to attend Dads Weekend will announce that they are willing to give up their hotel rooms. For those not able to find hotel rooms in Champaign-Urbana, the IlliniDads has blocked out rooms for Dads Weekend for IlliniDads members at the beautiful Allerton Park & Retreat Center, located about 30 minutes from Champaign. While we understand this is not as convenient as staying in Champaign-Urbana, we are hopeful this will help some of you who are still searching for rooms.
  • The block of rooms are available on a first-come first-served basis
  • Mention IlliniDads when reserving the room to qualify for up to a 40% discount: room rates are $90 to $150, but we negotiated a flat rate of $90 per night, regardless of room type
  • You can reserve rooms for 1 or 2 nights
  • Call the Allerton Front Desk at 217-762-7011 to make a reservation and pay for your room

And book your future Moms weekend rooms soon!

          • Who can come to Dads Weekend? Is it just for dads?
Everyone is welcome to come!!! It’s not just for dads and their students! Moms, grandparents, cousins, uncles, aunts, children, extended family… you can all come! We’d love to see you!
